What is a music license and why do I need one?
Typically if you wanted to use a piece of music for whatever reason you would need clearance from the composer, artist, or producer and then also have to pay performace rights to which ever rights company that corresponds to your country.
Obtaining this clearance is in a form of a license contract permitting you to use the music as agreed upon by the terms of the contract.
All music on our site has been cleared by sign documents directly from the appropiate music rights owner.
Also the complications of royalties has been taken out of the process. Most of our licenses do not obligate you to report use of our music, hence making our music "Royalty Free Music" for some of our license types.

No matter what your music needs are you have a choice of receiving your product either format of 192kbps Mp3 or 44.1khz 16 bit broadcast wave file.
We unfortunately are not shipping physical CD's but are in preparation to do so shortly.
How do I know if I have to pay royalties?
Simple, if you click on our rate sheet you will see our types of licenses and what uses they cover. Also they will indicate whether the license is royalty free or not.
As a company, we want your experience to be as easy and comfortable as possible. That being said we try to cater our rules and policies to meet your needs.
The only time we do not allow the use of our music on a royalty free basis is if the music will be used in any application that spans for a national or international purpose with the exclusion of the internet.

Do I own this music and how many times can I use it?
No, you do not own the music.
What you are purchasing is the right to use it.
You can use the music for as long as the life of its initial intended use. For instance, if you buy the music for a website you can use it as long as that site is up.
But you can not use the same piece of music for a second website. That would require purchasing a second license.
